What measures have you put in place to deal with Covid-19?

Can I go to the park if I am pregnant?
Sorry, but no.
How old do I have to be?
Participants need to be at least 7 years old:
7-11-year-old participants must have an adult accompanying them
12-15-year-old participants need an adult to sign them in and be available in the spectator area
Are there any height/weight restrictions?
There are no weight restrictions however you do need to be between 110-210cm in height due to manufacturer requirements
How long in advance do I have to arrive?
Please arrive half an hour prior to your session starting. This will allow you to get changed ready for a full hour on the park.
How long is the session?
1 hour and this includes a short safety briefing.
Where can I store my possessions?
We have open storage cubes available but no lockable storage. We suggest leaving valuables with a spectator, or in your car. We do have a key locker for car keys (but you will need to put phones etc in the car)
IOW Aquapark cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
Are there any changing facilities?
Yes, changing facilities are available but limited during busy times.
We recommend you arrive in your swimwear ready to put a wetsuit and buoyancy aid over the top.
What do I need to bring with me?
We will supply you with the equipment needed to take part in the session. You need to bring:
Swimwear for under a wetsuit.
If opting not to wear a wetsuit, then shorts must be worn over swimwear.
A towel and warm dry clothes to get changed into after the session
Do I need to be able to swim?
All participants must be able to swim 25 metres unaided whilst wearing a buoyancy aid
What happens if it’s raining?
You still take part in the rain. Our theory is…you are going to get wet anyway!
Do I have to be physically fit to take part?
You do have to be able to pull yourself up out of the water, and it can be very tiring. You don’t have to be very fit to take part; however, it is a very active sport.
Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Most of the time a wetsuit will be required. During warmer periods in the summer wetsuits may be optional, but shorts must be worn over swimsuit.
Is there food and drink available?
Our Farm Shop on-site sells a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams.
The Cow restaurant on-site serves the best burgers as well as other mains - catering for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free too. Booking is highly recommended for inside seating. There's plenty of seating outside which is on a first come basis. We suggest you download 'The Cow at Tapnell Farm' App before you visit.
Can I take a waterproof camera into the Aqua Park?
Yes, you can, however they MUST be secured by a chest harness only – wearing a camera is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any lost devices.
Are there showers or toilets on site?
Yes, but capacity is limited.
Can I wear shoes?
No trainers, or hard soled shoes are allowed on the aqua park. Bare feet only!!
Do I need to remove all jewellery?
Yes, all jewellery must be removed before you enter the park, including ALL removable earrings. If you have recently had any piercings, we can provide tape to cover them.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. If you cancel within 48 hours of your session, there is no refund. If you cancel with more than 48 hours notice, we will provide a credit to use at later date or offer a 50% refund. If you give 7 days notice, you will receive a full refund or credit towards a future session that season.
Can we bring our dog?
Supervised, well behaved dogs that are on leads at all times, are allowed on the spectator deck only
What happens in adverse weather?
In the event of lightning the aqua park will be evacuated. We will endeavour to do all we can to ensure sessions run on time and for the full time period.
How do you maintain the water quality?
We have a programme of regular maintenance and water management for the lake which includes daily checks in order to keep the water as clean and safe as possible.
